Bishop's Pumpkin Farm with The Archuleta's

The kiddos had a day off from school in mid-October, so we decided to make our annual trip to Bishop's Pumpkin Farm.  Daddy was at work, so we decided to invite my good friend Jen and her son, Jackson to join us.  We seriously had a blast.  The kids panned for marbles (each of them were able to collect ten marbles), played on the giant slides, jumped in the hay, climbed on the wooden trains, shopped for pumpkins, climbed on the tires, rode the train (I forgot to buy myself a ticket and didn't want to wait in line again, so Jen ended up chaperoning all the kids), ate caramel apples (Loren lost her first tooth while biting into the apples...she didn't even know it fell out and she ended up swallowing it), and bought apple cider.  It was a super fun filled day and we loved having Jen and Jackson with us.  Good times, good memories!

Taekwondo Belt Test

The kids had another taekwondo belt test in October.  They are always excited to show off their skills and earn their new belts.  They are very serious about their taekwondo!

Grant is calm, cool and collected.  He always knows his material and is ready for belt test.   We are so proud of him! 

Cement Slide with The Harders

My good friend Liz introduced us to the cement slides in Roseville. It's a hidden treasure that my kids now love.  We met up with Liz and her boys again to enjoy some fall fun on the slides.  The slides were extra slick as some other people showed up with wax paper.  Not only can you ride down on the wax paper, but it makes the cement slides that much faster/dangerous.  The cement slides proved to be a little rough on Loren's jeans.  She totally split them open on the leg.  Sadly, the only other clothes I had in the car were some ones the girls had outgrown and I planned to donate.  I had to squeeze Loren into a short skirt until we could get to the Carter's store to buy her a new outfit. 

I'm not sure if the boys like the slides as much as they like all the branches laying around from the trees. They tend to pick them up and use them as weapons.  Isn't that what all boys do with sticks?  We had a wonderful time, as always, and can't wait to go back to the slides for more fun.
