Twin Day at School

The girls were looking forward to twin day at school.  Loren and her BFF Kaileigh got some new shirts from Target to wear for twins day.  Thankfully, I had two of the same shirt (Morgan wore Loren's old one and Morgan's old one that no longer fit went to her friend) that we were able to give a friend of Morgan's and they were able to dress like twins.  They were so adorable!

Trunk-R-Treat

We always look forward to our ward Trunk-r-Treat!  This year, we had our sweet friends, The Vega's come along with us.  The kids had so much fun going to all the cars and collecting what seemed like loads of candy!  We have a great ward with lots and lots of kids!

Daddy's New Truck

Guess who surprised the kids when he came home with this 2014 Toyota Tundra!  Chris has been wanting another truck for a long time.  He hated giving up his so many years ago, but with three small kids in carseats, it wasn't really practical back then.  Now that we are down to two kids in booster seats (one more almost out) and one finally done with boosters/car seats, it is much more doable.  The kids love the truck and so do Mommy and Daddy!  I teased Daddy, that it was even nicer on the inside then my van.  It's super roomy being a 4-door and very comfortable.  I think we will be enjoying this truck for many years to come.  And...I am almost positive that Daddy can't wait to fill the truck bed with some other new toys!  Hmmmm....I wonder what he has in mind???

Opal the Octopus

Morgan was so excited to have a turn to bring home the class stuffed animal, Opal the Octopus.  She took that thing everywhere we went that weekend.  She played with it, snuggled it and took lots of pictures with it.  Before returning Opal to school, she had to fill out a little journaling page about her time with Opal and then we attached a picture.  It was fun to also read what Opal had done while she was visiting other classmates' homes!

Baby Adaline

Our sweet friend (and former mommy-helper), Kirsten, came for a quick visit with her daughter, Adaline!  Morgan couldn't wait to hold her and wanted me to take pictures of her with the baby.  Adaline is so sweet and just melts my heart.  It's hard to believe that Kirsten used to spend hours helping my with our kids during tax season, and now here she is, married with a daughter of her own!

Bishop's Pumpkin Farm with Grandma and Grandpa Ols

Grandma and Grandpa Ols came to town for a quick weekend in October.  We were looking forward to them seeing the girls play soccer.  We also saved our annual trip to the Pumpkin Farm so that we could enjoy it with them.  The kids are always excited to show them some of our favorite things.  Grandma and Grandpa have been to Bishop's before with us and they love it as much as we do!  The kids enjoyed playing on the tire maze, watching the pig races, mining for marbles, going down the slides, jumping in the hay, picking out pumpkins and our favorite, enjoying yummy caramel apples and cinnamon rolls!  Fun times (and I really was there even though there isn't a single picture of me!)
