I like to decorate for Christmas early. In fact, I usually begin long before Thanksgiving. For the past few years, the kids and I have spent the Veteran's day holiday getting out the decorations for Christmas. I love our home at Christmas time. I love the decorations, the spirit of Christmas and the wonderful feeling it brings into our home. The kids and I did the small tree in the family room, the decorations throughout the house and then we waited for Daddy's help to resurrect the big tree in the living room. We didn't decorate that tree, however, til we returned from our Thanksgiving visit to Fresno. Rain had delayed the guys from hanging our lights several times, but our lights finally went up in late November as well and it finally felt like Christmas, both inside and out.
