Fall Carnival 2011

Fall Carnival
Lincoln Crossing Elementary

We always look forward to attending the Fall Carnival at the kids' school.   What's better than carnival games, cotton candy, popcorn, snowcones, prizes, fun and friends?  The kids would play the games for hours if we let them, but we try to just play each of them once!!!

I love that the kids win a prize after each game...just for participating.  They think it's pretty cool to dig through the bucket to find their latest treasure!
Daddy helping the kids decorate their brown bags to collect their goodies in!  By the end of the day, Mom and Dad end up carrying the bags, the popcorn, the cotton candy, the snowcones and the drinks.  Never enough hands!!
This year, each of the classes at the school decorated a scarecrow.  The scarecrows were used for decorations and then were auctioned off.   Grant was very proud of the scarecrow that his class made and we decided we needed a picture of it.   Morgan, on the other hand, was so scared of Grant's scarecrow that she wouldn't go near it.  Poor thing! I had to carry her by it!.

Loren with her class scarecrow!!

The kids got Halloween tattoos.  Morgan wanted one too, but didn't want the girl to do it.  So...the minute we got home, I had to put the tattoo on her.  Two weeks later and the thing is still on her arm!!

Morgan was excited to play this game where you push the little pumpkin along with a broom.  She did really good at it and had a great time.

Another great time at the school carnival....oh...and we won a pumpkin!  SCORE!!!  We will see you again next year, fall carnival!!
